How does blog publishing work?#

Your agent researches the topic with research_blog, writes the post, and runs review_blog until it is ready. publish_blog then sends it to your connected blog, straight away or at a time you pick; queued posts publish on their own at that time and failed attempts are retried. A post that review_blog does not call ready is never published, and publishing the same post again updates it instead of creating a copy.

Which option fits my site?#

GitHub: your site is code in a GitHub repository (built by you, an AI agent, Lovable, v0 or Bolt) and deploys on push through Vercel, Netlify or GitHub Pages. Each post becomes a markdown file committed to the folder your site reads posts from; First100 detects Next.js, Astro, Gatsby, Hugo, Jekyll, Eleventy, Nuxt and Docusaurus. If the site has no blog page yet, ask your agent to add one that renders that folder, or use the hosted blog.

WordPress (self-hosted), Ghost and Webflow: posts go into your CMS and appear on your site at once.

Hosted: for any other site. First100 serves your blog, and one rewrite rule makes it appear at yoursite.com/blog on your own domain, with your site as the canonical address.

If your agent works inside your site's code (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor), it can also save the post into the repository itself and deploy it; the write_blog prompt covers that path.

How do I connect my blog?#

Open Connected accounts, then Blog publishing, and pick your platform:

• GitHub: create a fine-grained token (the link fills in the name and the Contents permission), choose only your site's repository, paste it with the repository name.
• WordPress: Users, Profile, Application Passwords, add one named First100, paste it with your username. WordPress.com sites use the hosted option.
• Ghost: Settings, Integrations, Add custom integration, copy the Admin API key.
• Webflow: Site settings, Apps and integrations, API access, a token with CMS read and write, plus your blog collection's ID.
• Hosted: one click, then add the rewrite shown for Vercel, Next.js, Netlify or Cloudflare.

Can First100 write the posts for me?#

Yes. Open Blog and choose Write my next posts: pick 1 to 7 days (one post a day), the language, and optionally notes (facts, numbers, customer stories) and assets (links and images). First100 first checks where you stand: the questions ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI answers cite competitors for instead of you (from your last AI visibility and AI answers reports), and your Search Console queries close to page one, untargeted or asked like a question. It plans the posts that close those gaps, writes each in your language, built to be quoted by AI answers first (answer-first passages, question headings, a table, steps and an FAQ) and to rank second, and scores it with review_blog. Each post says why it was chosen.

They wait as drafts for you to read, edit and schedule, or you tick Schedule them for me and they publish one a day. Posts state only facts from your brand profile and your notes; they never invent numbers, quotes or customers. Each post uses one of your monthly blog posts.

Can I write a post myself?#

Choose Write a post on the Blog page: a clean editor with a large title and one column of text. Markdown works (## heading, **bold**, - list), the toolbar inserts it for you, images upload in place, and Preview shows exactly what gets published. Save a draft, schedule it for a date and time, or publish now. The review score and the main fixes show after each save.

What do I ask my agent?#
