Using First100
Using the dashboard
Where everything lives in the First100 dashboard: connected accounts, Growth (social and search), X insights, the calendar with images, video and LinkedIn PDF carousels, and your plan's limits.
What happens the first time I sign in?
A short welcome explains how First100 works, asks for your product name, website and one line on what it does, shows exactly how to add First100 to the agent you use (Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and more, with the commands to copy), and lists what you can change later and where. It ends on Connected accounts, because nothing can be posted or measured until a platform is connected. You can replay it any time from Welcome tour in the sidebar.
Which accounts should I connect?
Connect the platforms you post on: X, LinkedIn and Threads sign in through the platform, Bluesky uses an app password. Connect Google Search Console to see your search data, your mailbox (with an app password) if you send outreach, and your blog under Blog publishing (see publish your blog). A connection that stops working is flagged there with a reconnect button.
What does the Growth page show?
Social: one tile per platform with impressions, engagement, clicks on your tracked links and click rate, and what worked on your own posts behind a toggle. LinkedIn gives apps no post numbers, so its tile lists your recent LinkedIn posts with links instead. Below: your top posts, the most clicked ones, a quick reply radar and every tracked link.
Search: your Google Search Console clicks and impressions at the top, then your tracked keywords with position, weekly change, who holds first place and monthly searches; AI visibility (whether ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity recommend you for your buyer questions, and how often ChatGPT and Google AI Overview mention you next to competitors); backlinks against your competitors with the sites to ask for a link; and keyword research. Each card at the top has a More info link to its section. Rankings refresh weekly; AI visibility and backlinks every two weeks on paid plans.
What is X insights?
Open it from the X tile on Growth. Add the X accounts your audience follows (your plan sets how many), then scan: you get the posts worth replying to now, the posts breaking out at twice their author's usual engagement with the kind of hook they used, and the accounts your watchlist reposts that you may want to watch. The last scan is kept until the next one. First100 never replies for you.
Where do I plan blog posts?
On Blog under Publish: drafts, scheduled, published and failed articles from the editor, the generator and your agent. Write my next posts writes up to seven days of posts from your AI-answer and search gaps in any language; Growth, Search links there too. Scheduled and published blog posts also appear on the calendar with the First100 mark (filter them with the F button): click one to edit it, or to open it on your site once it is live. See publish your blog.
Can I automate the whole routine?
With Workflows under Publish: connect blocks on a canvas (gaps, research, write, review, publish, announce, IndexNow, email) and run them on a schedule. See workflows.
How do I post images, videos and documents?
In the calendar, open a day and write the post. Each post takes one attachment: an image (JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP up to 8 MB), an MP4 video (up to 50 MB; X takes up to 2:20, LinkedIn 10 minutes, Threads 5, Bluesky 3), or on LinkedIn a PDF up to 100 MB, which LinkedIn shows as a swipeable carousel with the title you give it. X, Threads and Bluesky have no document posts. Your agent can attach the same through its posting tools.
Auto-publish is on by default: a scheduled post goes out at its time. Switch it off on the brand page if you want every post to wait as a draft for approval.
What do the plan limits cover?
Each plan sets posts per month, brands, blog research briefs, site audits, business searches and cold emails, plus two budgets for data we pay per use: X reads (the metrics, stats and radar reads X charges for) and SEO data (keyword volumes, rank checks, AI visibility and backlinks, charged at what the data costs). Usage shows the month so far; a tool that hits a limit says which one and how to raise it.
